You will report directly to the President and join a team that includes four other Estimators. You'll play a critical role in determining the growth rate and profitability of the Company and work closely with the President of this rapidly growing and highly regarded regional mechanical construction organization.

We specialize in mechanical construction contracts in the $3 million to $20 million range, as well as the tenant renovation market, involving variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, which are our specialty, as well as conventional HVAC systems. Our objective is to be able to be the first subcontractor on the job and to execute the contract as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

You'll have ultimate responsibility for accurate project estimates of material, equipment and supplies costs, labor costs, project duration and subcontractor costs required to meet the customers’ quality and contractual requirements. In addition to bidding on five to ten projects per week, you will coordinate with project managers and field operations to assure seamless communication throughout the life of the project with no "gray areas" regarding what is included in the project budget.

We rarely pursue published bids, and much of our work is negotiated and based on relationships. You'll work with customers to help them understand what is in a bid, where we fit into the pricing mix, and how we might adjust the bid to be competitive. You'll leverage your persuasive skills to convince customers that's we’re their best option. Quick question for you - click here
